AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF A GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. Section 53a-181e of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective October 1, 2015):

(a) A person is guilty of stalking in the third degree when [he] such person recklessly causes another person to reasonably fear for his or her physical safety by wilfully and repeatedly following, either in person or by means of an electronic device, or lying in wait for such other person.

(b) Stalking in the third degree is a class B misdemeanor.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
