AN ACT CONCERNING THE LABOR DEPARTMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2015) The Labor Department shall initiate a study to determine whether policy and procedural changes within the department may increase the productivity of workers within the state. The department shall report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, the findings of such study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to labor and public employees on or before February 1, 2016.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections: | ||

To study labor issues within the state.
