AN ACT LOWERING THE OCCUPANCY TAX RATE FOR BED AND BREAKFAST ESTABLISHMENTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 219 of the general statutes be amended to reduce the occupancy tax applicable to hotels and lodging houses to ten per cent for bed and breakfast establishments.

Statement of Purpose:

To reduce the occupancy tax applied to bed a breakfast establishments and to facilitate regular compliance with the occupancy tax.
