AN ACT CONCERNING THE THRESHOLD DATE FOR CONVICTIONS FOR POSSESSION OF SMALL AMOUNTS OF MARIJUANA AS A DISQUALIFIER FOR A PISTOL PERMIT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 29-28 of the general statutes be amended to change the threshold date of conviction for possession of small amounts of marijuana from October 1, 1994, to October 1, 2015, to conform with the effective date for changes made to the drug possession statute.
Statement of Purpose:
To change in the pistol permit section the threshold date of conviction for possession of small amounts of marijuana from October 1, 1994, to October 1, 2015, to conform with the effective date for changes made to the drug possession statute.
