AN ACT CONCERNING THE THRESHOLD FOR LABELING WINE AS "CONNECTICUT GROWN".

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the Department of Agriculture from establishing a threshold for the labeling and marketing of wine as "Connecticut Grown" that is greater than the current twenty-five per cent threshold for being considered as a "Connecticut Grown" wine.

Statement of Purpose:

To ensure that the Department of Agriculture does not increase the threshold for labeling and marketing wine as "Connecticut Grown".
