AN ACT CONCERNING RENEWAL OF TEMPORARY NOTES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (Effective from passage) Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 7-378 and 7-378a of the general statutes, and any other public or special act or charter or bond ordinance or bond resolution that limits the issuance or renewal of temporary notes issued in anticipation of the receipt of state school building project grants, such temporary notes issued by the town of Seymour on November 15, 2012, may be renewed past such temporary notes' May 1, 2013, maturity, but in no event shall such temporary notes be renewed past May 1, 2014.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

To allow the town of Seymour to renew temporary notes past the statutory limits, when such notes were issued in anticipation of state school building project grants.
