AN ACT PROVIDING A STATE INCOME TAX CREDIT FOR CHILD CARE COSTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to provide a credit against the state income tax modeled after the federal credit for dependent child care.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide relief to families burdened by the costs of day care.
