AN ACT CONCERNING ACTIVE DUTY MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES AND PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 203 of the general statutes be amended to require members of the armed forces serving outside of Connecticut to submit documentation of eligibility for property tax exemptions once and not on an annual basis.

Statement of Purpose:

To allow members of the armed forces serving out of state to file documentation of eligibility for property tax exemptions once and not annually.
