AN ACT CONCERNING SOBER LIVING HOMES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 17a of the general statutes be amended to require (1) new sober living homes to register with the municipality in which they are located and become certified by their municipal health authority or district department of health prior to operation and in order to be eligible to receive state funding, and (2) existing sober living homes to register with the municipality in which they are located and become certified by their municipal health authority or district department of health in order to be eligible to receive state funding.

Statement of Purpose:

To improve the living condition of those living in sober living homes.
