AN ACT CONCERNING NEGLIGENT HOMICIDE WITH A MOTOR VEHICLE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 14-215 of the general statutes be amended to provide that any person operating a motor vehicle during the period that such person's operator's license is suspended or revoked who is at fault in a motor vehicle accident that results in the death of another person shall be in violation of section 14-222a of the general statutes concerning negligent homicide with a motor vehicle.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide that the actions of a person with a suspended license who disobeys the law by continuing to drive shall constitute negligent homicide with a motor vehicle if that person is at fault in a fatal accident.
