AN ACT CONCERNING EXPANSION OF PUBLIC FINANCING OF CAMPAIGNS FOR CERTAIN MUNICIPAL OFFICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 9-760 of the general statutes be amended to permit the State Elections Enforcement Commission to expand the pilot program for the public financing of campaigns of candidates for certain municipal offices to not more than four municipalities.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow an additional municipality to participate in a pilot program for the public financing of candidate campaigns for certain municipal offices.
