AN ACT CONCERNING ACCESS TO BIRTH CERTIFICATES BY ADOPTED PERSONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 7-53 of the general statutes be amended to allow all adult adopted persons to have access to their birth certificates regardless of the date the adoption was finalized.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide adult adopted persons access to their original birth certificates and parents' health information.
