AN ACT CONCERNING AN INDIVIDUAL'S ELIGIBILITY FOR UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION BENEFITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require individuals who are eligible to receive unemployment compensation benefits to appear in person, at least monthly, at the state's unemployment offices in order to access their unemployment compensation benefits.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent fraud in the state's unemployment compensation system.
