AN ACT NAMING A BRIDGE IN SOUTHINGTON AFTER DETECTIVE BRUCE BOISLAND.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the bridge on West Street in Southington, crossing over Interstate 84, be named the "Detective Bruce Boisland Bridge."

Statement of Purpose:

To name a bridge in Southington in honor of Detective Bruce Boisland to recognize his service to Southington as an undercover officer to the State Police Crime Task Force and the Federal Bureau of Investigation Crime Task Force and the performance of his duties while undergoing treatment for terminal cancer.
