AN ACT CONCERNING PATERNITY ADJUDICATIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 46b-129 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the requirement in paternity adjudication matters that the court find evidence that sexual intercourse occurred between the mother and the person named as the father during the period of time in which the child was conceived when there has already been a DNA test establishing that the named person is the father of the named child.

Statement of Purpose:

To eliminate unnecessary findings in paternity adjudication matters.
