AN ACT CONCERNING THE TAKING OF FACILITIES BY THE COMMISSIONER OF TRANSPORTATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 13b-36 of the general statutes be amended to provide that the taking of a facility for the operation or improvement of transportation services by the Commissioner of Transportation does not include the taking of intangible personal property.

Statement of Purpose:

To clarify that intangible property is not considered a facility in the context of a taking by the Commissioner of Transportation for the operation or improvement of transportation services.
