AN ACT REPLACING THE DEFINED BENEFIT RETIREMENT PLAN FOR STATE EMPLOYEES WITH A DEFINED CONTRIBUTION RETIREMENT PLAN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to phase out the current defined benefit retirement plan for state employees and replace it with a defined contribution retirement plan.
Statement of Purpose:
To replace state employee pensions with a defined contribution plan.
