AN ACT PROHIBITING SCHOOL DISTRICTS FROM CHARGING STUDENTS MANDATORY FEES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit local and regional boards of education from charging any student enrolled in the district a mandatory fee.

Statement of Purpose:

To prohibit a school or school district from charging mandatory fees.
