AN ACT ESTABLISHING CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS FOR FOOD LABELED AS "LOCALLY GROWN".

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require that any food that is sold under the label "locally grown" be food that was grown in Connecticut.

Statement of Purpose:

To promote the state's agricultural sector.
