AN ACT CONCERNING THE BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT TRAINING REQUIREMENT FOR CERTAIN SCHOOL PERSONNEL.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 166 of the general statutes be amended to permit local and regional boards of education to select which school employees shall be required to complete training in behavior management.

Statement of Purpose:

To reduce costs to school districts related to the mandatory training of school personnel.
