AN ACT CONCERNING A TEN-YEAR REVALUATION SCHEDULE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 203 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the five-year statistical revaluation mandate and replace it with an annual equalization process to be applied in years five through ten, thus enabling municipalities to return to a ten-year revaluation cycle.

Statement of Purpose:

To reform the municipal statistical revaluation mandate.
