AN ACT CONCERNING LICENSING OF PHYSICIANS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 370 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit a physician whose license to practice medicine has been revoked in another state from practicing medicine in this state.

Statement of Purpose:

To maintain the quality of care in the state by prohibiting physicians who have lost their licenses to practice in other states from continuing to practice as a physician in this state.
