AN ACT CONCERNING CHANGES TO THE PREVAILING WAGE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 31-53 of the general statutes be amended to increase the threshold amount for construction projects required to abide by prevailing wage laws to one million dollars for new construction and one million dollars for remodeling work and to index the threshold for all municipal construction projects to the inflation rate.

Statement of Purpose:

To increase the prevailing wage thresholds for municipal construction projects.
