AN ACT CONCERNING MARRIAGE LICENSES FOR ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY PERSONNEL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. Section 46b-25 of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective from passage):

The Social Security numbers of both persons shall be recorded in the "administrative purposes" section of the license. If the license is signed and sworn to by the applicants on different dates, the later date shall be deemed the date of application.
(b) The registrar shall issue a license to a member of the armed forces, as defined in subsection (a) of section 27-103, who is on active duty and absent from this state and the person with whom such member makes application for such license, provided such person appears before such registrar and such application otherwise complies with the requirements of subsection (a) of this section.
