AN ACT CONCERNING PRIVATIZING DELIVERY OF UP TO FIFTY PER CENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES BY NONPROFITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Social Services, in consultation with the Departments of Mental Health and Addiction Services and Developmental Services, to transfer to nonprofit organizations the provision of up to fifty per cent of social services currently delivered by the state.
