AN ACT ESTABLISHING A STATE SUBSIDY FOR PUBLIC BUILDINGS TO ACHIEVE LEED CERTIFICATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a state subsidy for public buildings to achieve LEED certification by the LEED Green Building Rating System as defined under subdivision (7) of subsection (a) of section 12-217mm.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a state subsidy to help finance and encourage the transition of public buildings to more energy-efficient models and designs.
