AN ACT CONCERNING LICENSED CONTRACTORS AND A STATE-WIDE PERMITTING SYSTEM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Labor Department to develop a uniform, state-wide system to enable licensed contractors to obtain permits and pay any applicable permit fees using an online process.
Statement of Purpose:
To expedite and streamline the permitting process by allowing licensed contractors to pull permits and pay for permits using an online system.
