AN ACT ESTABLISHING CONNECTICUT NATIONAL GUARD TRAINING ACCOUNTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective July 1, 2010) (a) There is established an account to be known as the "chargeable transient quarters and billeting account" which shall be a separate, nonlapsing account within the General Fund. The account shall contain (1) any moneys required by law to be deposited in the account, and (2) any nonappropriated moneys obtained from the proceeds of room service charges at the Connecticut Army National Guard training center. The account shall be managed pursuant to National Guard Regulation 210-50. Moneys in the account shall be expended by the Adjutant General for the purposes of supporting morale and maintaining state military training abilities.
(b) There is established an account to be known as the "morale, welfare and recreation account" which shall be a separate, nonlapsing account within the General Fund. The account shall contain (1) any moneys required by law to be deposited in the account, and (2) any nonappropriated moneys obtained from Army morale, welfare and recreation activities. The account shall be managed pursuant to Army Regulation 215-1. Moneys in the account shall be expended by the Adjutant General for the purposes of supporting morale and maintaining state military training abilities.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections: | ||
