AN ACT REQUIRING A TWO-THIRDS VOTE FOR ENACTING UNFUNDED MANDATES ON TOWNS AND CITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require a vote of two-thirds of the members of the General Assembly to enact unfunded mandates on towns and cities.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a two-thirds vote requirement for unfunded mandates.
