AN ACT REPEALING THE STUDENT DATA PRIVACY ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That public act 16-189 be repealed.
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate the requirement that boards of education enter into contracts with vendors who provide educational tools and software for students through means of the Internet, online services or mobile applications.
