AN ACT CONCERNING SUFFICIENT NUMBERS OF BALLOTS FOR REGISTERED VOTERS IN THE DISTRICT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 147 of the general statutes be amended to provide that polling places have at least as many ballots as there are registered voters in the voting districts, and that chapter 157 of the general statutes be amended to provide that funds from the Citizens' Election Fund be used to pay for such ballots.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure all registered voters have access to a ballot to vote on election day.
