AN ACT CONCERNING MODEL BLUEPRINTS FOR SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 173 of the general statutes be amended to establish a committee within the school facilities unit in the Department of Education to develop, at least three, but not more than ten, model blueprints for use by towns when submitting an application for a grant for a school building project creating new buildings or facilities. Such committee shall consist of volunteers who have experience and expertise in architecture and construction.
Statement of Purpose:
To help reduce school construction costs by establishing model blueprints for school building projects.
