AN ACT CONCERNING THE INSTALLATION OF PANIC BUTTONS IN ALL SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 173 of the general statutes be amended to require all school building projects approved on and after December 15, 2013 to include the installation of panic buttons in all classrooms and public areas.
Statement of Purpose:
To require all school construction projects to include the installation of panic buttons in schools.
