AN ACT CONCERNING TAXES ON HOSPITALS AND AMBULATORY SURGICAL CENTERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 211a of the general statutes be amended to (1) phase out the hospital tax over a six-year period, effective from passage, and (2) repeal the ambulatory surgical center tax, effective from passage.
Statement of Purpose:
To phase out the hospital tax and repeal the ambulatory surgical center tax.
