AN ACT RECOGNIZING ITALIAN AND ITALIAN-AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 10-29a of the general statutes be amended to designate the month of October of each year as Italian and Italian-American Heritage Month.

Statement of Purpose:

To commemorate the advances Italians and Italian-Americans have brought to the United States and to celebrate their cultural heritage.
