AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CARRYING OF A HANDGUN FOR SELF-DEFENSE IN STATE PARKS AND FORESTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize any person with a valid permit to carry a pistol or revolver to carry a handgun for self- defense in state parks and state forests.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow persons to carry handguns in state parks and state forests for the purpose of self-defense.
