AN ACT CONCERNING THE TETHERING OF DOGS DURING CERTAIN WEATHER CONDITIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 22-350a of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the tethering of dogs when the outdoor temperature is below thirty-two degrees Fahrenheit or above ninety degrees Fahrenheit.

Statement of Purpose:

To promote the humane treatment of dogs.
