AN ACT PROVIDING CONSTITUENTS WITH THE OPTION OF RECEIVING ELECTRONIC MAILINGS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 2-15a of the general statutes be amended to require the Joint Committee on Legislative Management to instruct each legislative caucus to include a note on all future informational mailings providing constituents with the option of receiving information from their legislators by electronic mail rather than posted mail.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the cost of legislative mailings and provide savings to the state.
