AN ACT REQUIRING THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS' AFFAIRS TO DESIGNATE "WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA WEEK".

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 506 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Veterans' Affairs to designate one week in December of each year as "Wreaths Across America Week."

Statement of Purpose:

To encourage Connecticut residents to participate in and provide support for the annual wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.
