AN ACT PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO STUDENTS AND FAMILIES FROM PUERTO RICO BY INCREASING ECS AND FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER GRANTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 10-262h of the general statutes be amended to increase equalization aid grants to towns that accept students from Puerto Rico, and that section 10-4o of the general statutes be amended to increase grants to family resource centers that provide assistance to families from Puerto Rico.

Statement of Purpose:

To increase funding to boards of education and family resource centers that provide assistance to students and families from Puerto Rico.
