AN ACT EXEMPTING SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS FROM THE PERSONAL INCOME TAX.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 12-701 of the general statutes be amended to exempt from the personal income tax all Social Security benefits for all income levels.

Statement of Purpose:

To exempt from the personal income tax all Social Security benefits for all income levels.
