AN ACT PROHIBITING MUNICIPAL LAND USE COMMISSIONS FROM REQUIRING A SPECIAL PERMIT OR SPECIAL EXCEPTION FOR THE STORAGE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY WITHIN A BUILDING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 8-2 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit municipal commissions from requiring a special permit or special exception for the on-site storage of personal property belonging to the subject property owner provided such personal property is stored within a building.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow property owners to store their personal property in buildings on their land without a special permit or special exception.
