AN ACT PROHIBITING THE INCREASE OF GRANTS UNDER THE CITIZENS' ELECTION PROGRAM.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That subsection (d) of section 9-705 of the general statutes, concerning the adjustment, in accordance with any change in the consumer price index, of grants awarded under the Citizens' Election Program, be amended to prohibit any increase in the amount of such grants.

Statement of Purpose:

To prohibit any increase in the amount of the grants awarded under the Citizens' Election Program.
