AN ACT CONCERNING WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Board of Regents for Higher Education shall conduct a study relating to workforce development issues in the state. Not later than May 20, 2018, the board shall submit a report of the results of such study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to higher education and employment advancement, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
Section 1	from passage	New section

Statement of Purpose:

To require the Board of Regents for Higher Education to study issues relating to workforce development in the state.
