AN ACT PROHIBITING THE SALE OF DOGS OR CATS FROM SUBSTANDARD DOMESTIC ANIMAL MILLS AT PET SHOPS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit pet shops from selling dogs or cats that were obtained from substandard domestic animal mills.

Statement of Purpose:

To prevent the importation of dogs and cats from animal mills.
