Summary
To permit Sarah DeMaria and Paul DeMaria to present their claims against the state to the Claims Commissioner for a hearing on the merits of such claim, as their failure to timely file with the Claims Commissioner was caused by the alleged negligence or omissions on the part of the State of Connecticut, namely, that agents, servants or employees of the state misdiagnosed Sarah DeMaria's 2010 biopsy, thereby failing to discover or notify the claimants that the material biopsied was early stage mesothelioma.
