   An act to amend Section 22150 of the Financial Code, relating to
finance lenders.


	LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


   SB 990, as introduced, Fuller. California Finance Lenders Law.
   Existing law, the California Finance Lenders Law, provides for the
licensure and regulation of finance lenders and brokers by the
Commissioner of Business Oversight. Existing law authorizes the
commissioner to make general rules and regulations, and specific
rulings, demands, and findings for the enforcement of that law, as
specified.
   This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to the latter
provision.
   Vote: majority. Appropriation: no. Fiscal committee: no.
State-mandated local program: no.


THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  SECTION 1.  Section 22150 of the Financial Code is amended to read:

   22150.  The commissioner may make general rules and regulations
and specific rulings, demands, and findings  for 
 regarding  the enforcement of this division, in addition
to, and within the general purposes of, this division.
