CALIFORNIA LEGISLATURE—
2021–2022 REGULAR SESSION
Senate Bill
No. 301
Introduced by Senator Skinner |
February 03, 2021 |
An act relating to business.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
SB 301, as introduced, Skinner.
Marketplaces.
Existing law requires a marketplace, as defined, to ensure that its terms and conditions regarding commercial relationships with marketplace sellers meet certain criteria, including that they are drafted in plain and intelligible language.
This bill would express the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would provide consumers greater transparency with respect to identity and contact information for marketplace sellers.
