An act to amend Section 1203.12 of the Penal Code, relating to probation.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


SB 1389, as introduced, Anderson. Probation.
Existing law requires the probation officer to furnish to each person who has been released on probation, and committed to his or her care, a written statement of the terms and conditions of his or her probation unless such a statement has been furnished by the court, and to report to the court, or judge, releasing that person on probation, any violation or breach of the terms and conditions imposed by that court on the person placed in his or her care.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 1203.12 of the Penal Code is amended to read:

1203.12.
 The probation officer shall furnish to each person who has been released on probation, and committed to his or her care, a written statement of the terms and conditions of his or her probation unless such a statement has been furnished by the court, and shall report to the court, or judge, releasing such that person on probation, any violation or breach of the terms and conditions imposed by such that court on the person placed in his or her care.
