An act to amend Section 18400 of the Health and Safety Code, relating to mobilehomes.

SB 1307, as introduced, Rubio. Mobilehome Parks Act.
Existing law, the Mobilehome Parks Act, requires the Department of Housing and Community Development to enforce the act. The act authorizes the enforcement agency to take specified actions, such as entering public or private property to determine whether there exists a park to which the act applies.
This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to these provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 18400 of the Health and Safety Code is amended to read:

18400.
 (a) The department shall enforce this part and the rules and regulations adopted pursuant to this part, except as provided in Section 18300.
(b) The officers or agents of the enforcement agency may do either of the following:
(1) Enter public or private property to determine whether there exists any a park to which this part applies.
(2) Enter and inspect all parks, wherever situated, and inspect all accommodations, equipment, or paraphernalia used in connection therewith, including the right to examine any registers of occupants maintained therein in order to secure the enforcement of this part and the regulations adopted pursuant to this part.
